Karen has recently joined Cultural Identity Awareness Ltd. She brings with her a wealth of experience.
Karen is a true dedicated professional, a competent trainer and with many years experience of managing multiple funded community projects, ensuring that targeted outputs are exceeded within forecasted timeframes. Consultation and participation with community groups is paramount, as is using a hands on approach, “they are key to any successful community focused initiative”.
Karen has worked on a large number of community projects for under represented and disadvantaged groups, for which she manages events, workshops and training activities enabling the participation of residents, community groups and voluntary organisations.
Karen is an excellent communicator with the commitment, experience and drive to analyse problems, provide solutions and most importantly of all “makes things happen”.
Karen also facilitates equality training programmes encompassing all the strands of diversity, “life experience is a fantastic tool” she works with the consultancy team co-ordinating our community based research programmes.
Karen brings with her a positive commitment to addressing inequalities not only in the workplace but society as a whole. Her enthusiasm is infectious and is mirrored in the work she produces and her training delivery.
