Course Fees & Payment Details

Unless other wise stated 50% of course fees must be paid in full at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each course, the balance to be paid within 2 weeks after delivery. Fees include all tuition costs, materials supplied during the course, lunch and refreshments each course day (if applicable). Special dietary needs must be advised before the start of the course. Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received. Delegates are responsible for accommodation, other meals and travel costs. 

Payment is due in GBP (sterling) once booking is confirmed, and payable:

VAT

Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations, effective from 1 October 1993 state that training services are zero rated for Government officials and public servants. When applying for courses applicants must provide a statement confirming they are employed by their Government in ‘furtherance of its sovereign activities’ and this must be endorsed with a departmental stamp to be exempt from VAT. All other participants, including those employed by Government – owned businesses or sponsored commercial organisations, are liable to pay the standard rate of VAT, currently 17.5%.

Substitutions

If you are unable to attend a booked course we will accept a substitute at anytime, please note there is a £25.00 admin fee for this.

Transfers

If you wish to transfer to another course or date, you must confirm this in writing to us 2 weeks prior to the course you are booked on. If you notify us within 2 weeks of the course a £25.00 admin fee will apply. Please note that only one transfer is permitted.

Cancellation Policy

By You: All cancellations must be confirmed in writing. Refunds or credit notes will be issued (if applicable) for any cancellations received respectively of the notice period outlined below:

Within 14 days of the course - No refund - full fee due
Within 2-4 weeks of the course - 50% of the course fee
Within 4-6 weeks of the course - 75% of the course fee
More than 6 weeks before the course - 100% of the course fee

Cancelled course fees may be used to transfer to another course or date if required providing cancellation is given within the notice period stated above. (Please also see Transfers).

By Us: We reserve the right to make alterations to the programme or to cancel a course at anytime. An alternative course date will be offered or a full refund or credit given.

Course Documentation

All delegates will be provided with handouts/workbook that will be a useful reference on return to work. The intellectual property remains with Cultural Identity Awareness Ltd; all course materials are copyright and may not be reproduced without prior permission in writing from Cultural Identity Awareness Ltd.
